gentle touch reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy, which promotes a sense
of wellbeing. From ancient artifacts, we know that early civilisations
massaged the feet to promote good health. These same techniques
have been developed into a modern scientific method called reflexology.
After an initial consultation, we will tailor a treatment that
meets your own individual needs. This treatment will stimulate the
body's own healing mechanism, relaxing you and helping you to alleviate
your symptoms. Typically clients may have two to six 60-minute sessions,
or regular sessions on a preventative basis. Whilst reflexology
and reiki provide similar benefits for you,
they differ in their style of treatment.
my training
Over a 12 month period, I trained at the Sue Ricks School of Complementary
Therapy in gentle touch reflexology and attained the Level
3 Diploma in reflexology. Gentle touch reflexology is a gentle,
subtle and refined adaptation of reflexology. This is a little different
to standard reflexology, as it uses a unique and specifically applied
lightness of touch.
I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists, and the British
Register of Complementary Practitioners.

I could really feel the tension in my body lifting."

"I have recurring tension headaches,
which affect the right side of my head, neck and shoulder. During
my treatment I felt my body and mind relaxing more and more until
the tension had evaporated and I felt totally relaxed."
